Next Votive Set (Review)

I have to say, I don't often go into Next, and when I do I don't tend to buy anything, although they have plenty of beautiful things there just hasn't been anything that really caught my eye. Until now. Just as I was about to leave the store I came across this gorgeous set of mini votive candles in three different scents, and let me tell you, I actually debated with myself over whether or not I really needed more candles (which of course I did not) but in the end I could not resist. These candles were not the cheapest available, but for the quality, the scent and the design I honestly do not have an issue with the price. Now, the candles themselves do smell incredible and there are two of each scent. On to the individual candles:
The first two candles (Joy & Wish) are Tuberose and Pink Pepper. Top Notes: Pink Pepper, Heart: Tuberose and Base: Tonka Bean. Let me tell you, these smell incredible, I can't actually describe the scent but it is warm and sweet and it has real depth to it, and I really do love the way this smells. The second two candles (Love & Cherish) are Bergamot and Vanilla. Top Notes: Bergamot, Heart: Jasmine and Base: Vanilla. Again, this scent is a winner for me, it creates a new twist on the classic vanilla scent, and as somebody who adores Earl Grey tea the hint of Bergamot is great. These two candles are fresh but are yet also warm and perfect for the colder months. The final two candles (Happiness & Laughter) are Blackcurrant and Orchid. Top Notes: Pink Grapefruit, Heart: Orchid and Base: Patchouli. This comes as no surprise, but these candles once again smell great. There is something almost perfume - like about this scent, but not in an overpowering way, the orchid brings depth and the blackcurrant and pink grapefruit bring some sweetness and fruitiness to the candles. All in all these candles are a huge winner for me, and once I have burnt all of the candles I intend to use the holders as cute little storage pots or I may even fill them with tea lights.  So, if you're a candle lover like me and want something to brighten up your home, then go and check these out.
This set is available in Next Home for £10.
