Day 4 - Weekend Away Toiletries

I really love going on weekend trips, they're so exciting and I love going to new cities too, and so I thought I'd share the toiletries that I take with me for a weekend away.

The first thing I take is a toiletries bag, and I think this one is really cool, I got this one from Primark for £3, it's a great size and fits everything in that you would need for a week, it's a really pretty holographic plastic bag making it really easy to clean.

The first thing I take is a travel size toothbrush and toothpaste; these two things normally take up a lot of space so these miniatures are really useful. The toothbrush folds out into a full size toothbrush, and I find this really handy for when I'm just going on a short trip.

The next thing I like to take is wipes, I have some hand wipes from Aldi which are really handy (get it...handy) and also some Yes To...Carrots mini face wipes. Face wipes are a great travel essential, especially for freshening up.

Next I take a body butter or lotion, usually I would take a mini Soap & Glory body butter, but this time I decided to take this sample of Neutrogena body lotion with me.

Obviously I also take a shower gel, and I decided to take a mini I Love... Iced Cookie bath/shower gel with me, multi-use products are useful because it saves space in your bag. I'm also taking a miniature Soap & Glory Scrub of Your Life with me, because it's cold and my skin gets very dry at this time of year.

I also take a day and night moisture, pretty self-explanatory really, I think it's really important to moisturise at this time of year too, especially if you're outside all day, your skin can feel pretty dry and chapped.

Finally I'm taking a miniature bottle of face wash (I just bought some miniature empty bottles from Wilko and filled it with some Nivea face wash) and a mini tea tree toner from the Body Shop.

So that's all of the toiletries that I am going to take on my weekend away. I love miniature things, as you can probably tell, and I hope this post has been helpful :)
